미국 시애틀의 밸뷰라는 도시에 주소가 있고,
1년짜리 도메인 계약을 하였으며
광고는 오버츄어라는 회사를 통한 광고(인터넷으로 오버츄어를 검색해 보면 광고방식을 아실듯)
미국회사인데 한국어 광고와 한국사이트 연결되는 것은, 오버츄어라는 회사가 글로벌 회사이고 한국에서 해당 사이트에 접속하는 경우 한국의 광고로 표출되는 것으로 추정됩니다.
그리고 전형적인 도메인 사냥꾼의 행위로 추정됩니다.
수익구조는 이렇습니다.
접속빈도가 높으나 사이트 업데이트가 없는 것을 로봇엔진으로 리스트를 작성하여 도메인 만료시에 자동으로 도메인을 신청하고 해당 메인화면에 오버츄어사와 계약한 광고를 게제하여 찾는 사람들의 접속을 유도합니다. 도메인은 거의 파킹된 상태라 1년 관리유지비용이 1~2만원밖에 들지 않으며 메인화면의 광고를 통해 접속할 경우 접속료로 건당 100~200원가량의 수입이 발생되게 됩니다. 이런 수입을 노리고 틈새를 파고드는 비즈니스로 추정합니다.
동일한 현상의 사이트로서 http://www.clshousing.com/, http://www.opticalart.net/ 가 있습니다.
